Professional Visual Production Work Adds To The Bottom Line

In a nutshell, by investing in professional and quality work, you enable your audience to go through your sales funnel at a faster, and more importantly, thorough rate.

Reasons To Use Professional Visual Production Work

As the old saying goes: Time is money.

The real question here is, why wouldn’t you invest in quality production work?

Homes with Professional Photos Sell Faster

And yet, the majority of real estate agents will still opt for taking their own photos using their camera phones. How do you ask your seller to make sure that their home has “curb appeal”, but yet use your camera phone to take photos of the home? Cutting on costs, such as those, will come back to haunt you in the long run. Using camera photos detracts from any kind of branding tactics that you implement, because it screams “AMATEUR”, “NOVICE”, “LOW VALUE”, etc. I think you get the picture.

Did you know that 90% of people looking for homes online, make buying decisions based on the photos, or lack thereof, that they see? Yet only 35% of real estate agents use professional photos. There is at least a 300% ROI from using professional real estate photography. A picture can say a thousand words, but in this case, a thousand bucks. Time is money, and delegating money for photography in your marketing efforts, is well worth it.

In the efforts to not be so wordy here, check out some articles below that do a really great job of explaining why investing in professional real estate photography can, in fact, increase your ROI dramatically.

Old School Project: TV Commercial Storyboard

Well it’s not that old since I presented it to my class in May. However, it is not complete. The computer I was working on was giving me problems when I wanted to add sound to this and I was working on a time crunch, so it is a little incomplete. I wanted to create something that was a bit more visual than your typical storyboard. It’s longer than it’s supposed to be because I have caption their whole conversation and I didn’t use autoplay transitions. Needless to say, I can work on this some more. I created this the night before my presentation while I had some creative juices flowing, but it does need some more tweaking. Enjoy and feel free to leave some feedback.

Why It Is A Marketing Mistake To Skip Video Advertising

Here are a few reasons why doing so would be a huge mistake in real estate:

  1. 85 percent of buyers and sellers want to work with an agent who uses video.
  2. Homes listed with video get four times the inquiries of homes listed without video.
  3. Including video in emails doubles the click-through rate and reduces opt-outs by 75 percent.

Time is seriously of the essence and your clients will appreciate you more so if you take the time to invest in quality visual production work. This will save them time in the long run when it comes time to make the decision to purchase. Why would you want to spend time making copies of keys, when you could reserve those keys for prospects who are in the evaluation stage and on the edge of purchase? This takes out the guessing work on both you and your client’s end. Instead of being restricted to just the local market, you can have access to the global market and generate way more traffic and leads to the property that you are selling. The name of the game is being efficient. Why work harder when you can work smarter?

1.8 Million Words = 1 Minute Video

Everyone these days are bombarded with messages…everywhere! So who honestly has time to sit there and read through all the words that a listing has for any particular item? NO ONE! People are looking for information that is conveniently accessible to them at any given moment without having to wait too long for it. If 1 picture equals 1 thousand words, who honestly has the time to read 1.8 million words, when they can just watch a 1 minute video?! Yeah, you saw that right. According to Forrester’s research, a 1 minute video is equivalent to 1.8 million words. So do yourself, and others, a favor, and create more quality videos that conveys your message clearly and easily.
